Yorkshire Dales roast-off Sep 14th to 16th 2018 - LAST YEAR

Two questions:

Is this a Friday to Sunday thing, or just the weekend?

Would anyone mind if I brought my son? He really enjoys farts, if it helps, likes hot food but simply can’t handle it, and doesn’t like pork.

If I may say so, you’re not exactly ‘selling’ him here

In that case, I can bring a Fidelity Research FR-7 with a suitable FR SUT if anyone is interested?

No problem to me, but then it’s not my bake-off

I’m wondering if death by pig is a way of curing porcine indifference…

Have you told him the AA initiation ceremony involves child sacrifice?

It’s good idea to bring spare phonos as you never know

Mickey, I’ll definitely bring the Roksan mm/mc and the unwanted CD player.

I suspect that the barn will not be stable enough for a record deck, so this setup might have to be digital (and/or R2R, of course)

Yes, turn up Friday afternoon, leave Sunday. I’ll check with the owners about times, they are usually pretty good about it, but depends whether other parties have booked either side of us. I’ve amended the thread title to make this clearer.

My Sister moving to near Brampton has greatly increased my chances of meeting you reprobates, via the Carlisle-Settle line.

So still consider me a possible. I’ll confirm once Sis’ has been moved more than a week.
