Whatever about the Jazz records, I quite like that rack he has the kit on. Nobody seems to do solid racks like that in the UK these days.

It’s a Soviet Boney M!

John works (Or certainly used to) next to the maker of Box furniture (I think Definitive used to sell this over here?) https://www.boxfurnitureco.com
I’ve got a single width one, nicely made thing.

Definitive don’t seem to do them any more. The Chi-Fi versions are unobtanium too at the moment.

Came across this guy whilst doing stuff for work:

By day Frank is probably a Proctologist or some such but when he gets home and puts on his pajama shorts, he likes to fuck with his neighbors good and hard.

It was the first time his wife saw him cry. When Phil Ochs heard the news of John F. Kennedy’s assassination, he was inconsolable: “I think I’m going to die tonight, Alice,” he told his wife. “I’m going to die.”

That night, he wrote a eulogy for the man who’d fathered his dream of America: “That Was the President”

The last time I saw Gary Moore he was drunk and being an arse at the Komedia in Brighton.
He wasn’t playing he was sitting at the table behind me at a Kelly Jo Phelps gig.
It was a couple of months before he died, perhaps I should be a bit kinder to his memory.
He could certainly play even though to my ears everything is a variation on the Parisian Walkways formula
