I obviously watched some, but school finished at 4.00
An hour to get home if I wasn’t doing something else at school
Didn’t see much kids TV
The very best possible time for 1970s kids’ TV is as a yoof absolutely out of your gourd on a technicolour selection of herbal and chemical intoxicants.
That is also the only time any of it makes any sense.
So c’mon @Kevin squeegee-clean that third eye, and try, try again!
I was a 1970s teenager, not a 1970s kid, and was certainly into herbal and chemical intoxicants (and carried on being into them for too many decades after).
The Magic Roundabout and Pugwash were my equivalent of M,M&M and probably paved the way!
Connie Converse, her story was unknown to me until today. Look her up if like me you hadn’t heard of her.
Her songs are beautiful.
Her story has featured on here a few times (I think there was a book published a couple of years ago).
Also this
Sounds like someone who had the ill luck to be about 70 years ahead of her time…
The true pinnacle of kiddy programmage
Kate Bush, innit ?
Indeed but nice to see she doesn’t take herself too seriously
There is a very positive review in The Grauniad. Positively fawning in fact….
Great
Got tickets in November.
Hope it is half as good as the last gig.
There must be something about Nicks
