In guitar circles there are two things Stevie Ray Vaughan is best known for (apart from being a great guitar player). The first is he used a particularly heavy gauge of guitar string, and second just how hard he could hit his strings in a raking fashion. Combined this is what made his playing so powerful.
Oddly Iâm not a huge fan of SRVâs music but I absolutely worship how he played. Stevie had all the mojo and some to spare.
