I got lucky since U.E.A was on the Uni gig circuit. He + band came to see me thrice.

Saw him at the Lowry Theatre in Salford and it was the best gig I’ve ever been to. This was post the leg amputation so he was sat down, but all the fire and passion was there in spades.
