Uniteds plan for next season is to break the world tranfer record. Again!!.
Even if you end up winning everything next season there is no glory or honour in it.
Scum will always be scum.

Why… Oh why… ? :disappointed_relieved:

Because we can.

That doesn’t mean you should.:weary:

United are now basically the Donald Trump of the football world. Get to the top by being rich, disgusting amd having no morals or class. Enjoy the prawn sandwiches while it lasts.:grinning:

And every so called top club would do the same. It’s why modern football is uncompetitive and largely shite. The even shitter modern fan laps this up regardless.

Employing Mourinho after his behaviour at Chelsea, and Madrid for that matter, just shows the levels some scumbag clubs will stoop to to try to get success.:smiling_imp:

Monsters begetting monsters as the saying goes.

Yep.

But he wins things. Where as Klopp comes second.

If 6th place is ‘winning things’ then more strength to your elbow.:grinning:

6th is where you will finish with City 5th. We’ll finish 4th I think.

It’s better than 8th was for Liverpool last time out. :grinning:
There was an FA Cup win as well iirc.

But we are not ‘the richest club in the world’ paying world record transfer fees and incredible wages - that’s the point.
If you aren’t always way ahead of us then you have failed miserably, just like you are currently - FACT.:smiling_imp:

Calm down, calm down. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:Hi http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/01/20/will-premier-league-top-six-finish-writers-have-say-arsenal/. Downloaded at last!!

Liverpool aren’t exactly way ahead of Plymouth Argyle despite the gulf in transfers, wages & turnover being far wider.

Looking back over the past 25 years, Utd have done pretty well. Since Ferguson retired it has unsurprisingly been more difficult but slowly things appear to be moving back in the right direction. It’s unlikely that they’ll ever be fortunate enough to bring through a talented home grown nucleus like the Beckham, Scholes Neville generation again. I doubt any club will. It doesn’t appear to be the way football works now.

Most unlikely under Morinho…

Few owners can afford to jeopardise their revenue by indulging managers dicking about with squad development & bringing lots of young players through. They need instant returns.

Being above us for a short while in the league (you’ll finish below us), is no claim to fame. Not having the cash for the top tier players is also no claim to fame.

That has been posted before. Complete fantasy.

It’s a shame, they were such a force and arguably laid the foundations for Utd’s success, ie richest club in world football. Barcelona have had a successful youth set up too reasonably recently, so maybe the idea is not dead but it seems only the richest clubs can feasibly do it and hang on to the players once they do come through. West ham have had some job hanging on to Reece Oxford…

Neither is being top of the money league whilst chronically under-performing on the pitch.

Gabriel Jesus will be launched this weekend by Man City. According to a Brazillion waiter in Jamie’s this guy is the real deal. Watch this space.:sunglasses:
