I was in no way being facetious - this is consciously choosing wine styles normally considered crap. It is sweet and fruity, yet also has great body and some unexpected complexity going-on. Far better than expected, but avowedly not to the taste of most on here, and I fear seriously hangover-inducing…

I’ve no fuckin’ beer or wine in the house and you bastards are on the lash. To make matters worse there’s a bit too much of that white shitty snow stuff outside. 
You might have to break into the holiday ouzo, raki or the Christmas baileys or cointreau stash.
Doesn’t everyone have one for a rainy(ok snowy) day.
