Xmas beer has all been used so tonight it’s a nice cheap and cheerful(Lidl bought) gin and tonic.

I wouldn’t. One source of gut-rot fuelled drunken rambling is quite sufficient thanks. I am obviously worried that a second shed-hooch sipper would diminish Terry’s USP.

Louise likes those - although I find almost every ginger beer I have tried to be too sweet…
that is strong - I would do 2 parts rum to 5 parts ginger beer (mind you that depends on how gingery the beer is)
no lime?
