Don’t forget tbe added bonus that BA staff think they are fucking God and treat the customers with disdain.
But THEY think that they are fantastic which is clearly what counts. I actively avoid them.
I fly regularly with KLM, their mature and experienced Dutch cabin crew are easy going, helpful and pleasant. BA cabin crew should take note.

Only one data point I know, but:
My mum flew BA from Heathrow to Manchester last summer for £76, which was about the same price as the train from Euston, and Heathrow is a fuckton less hassle to get to than Euston these days. I booked it for her and ticked all the boxes for restricted mobility etc.
She was met at Heathrow by a nice chap with a wheelchair for her who whizzed her through security with as much dignity as can be expected these days, she had a nice seat, the captain and crew made a big fuss of her and she was wheelchaired by another nice chap to her taxi at the other end. She was very pleased with the whole experience.
When she flew Ryanair to Graz (near to where our family in Austria live) a few years back she swore blind that she’d never step foot on another Ryanair aircraft ever, even if it meant flying to Vienna and getting a connecting flight.

Two cockpunches today
First, Devolo. My wifi homeplug has died, after only 3 months - and this is the second, the first never worked at all. The old one (which I kindly gave to a neighbour) was great, really strong wifi signal and worked for years. This one might be faster, but it doesn’t fucking work, which is quite a downside. Looking at reviews I’m not the only one who has found this.
Secondly, Google. Once again the Pixel phone shows how much it sucks colon. It seems unable to send DTFM tones - so when I press 1 on the Devolo helpline, nothing happens. Again I’m not the only one who has had this problem - and the fix that has worked for some, to send longer tones, is no longer in the settings. FFS
Why do people buy those phones? Cockpunch to people who buy Google phones.

I suspect that it may be the recipient system that can’t deal with short tones. Which would then be typical of Google, imposing their own standard on everyone else: have a system that works this way or we’ll remove compatibility 
Have you got wifi calling enabled, if so switch it off and try again.
Disabled ages ago, totally useless - drops the call if you walk out of range!
