2 seater convertible - help

Latest one. Although she works in vehicle recovery and is therefore a bit cautious when it comes to Merc reliability.

I think similar to Tim she might go for a Z4 as a good all round option (she is not 6’ 7" either!)

Edit - its not necessarily a 350, she saw one of those and then the current model so tbh its whichever small 2 seater Merc she likes the look and colour of :wink:

2013 facelift model. I don’t think it looks at all dated.

I have a 330i with the N52 3.0 S6 engine, its lovely, nice and smooth but with a top end. Not the most torque but I guess with the lighter Z4 its not a problem.

Can I just express my disappointment that 107 posts in, nobody has suggested a 24 year old plastic deathtrap from Blackpool? You’re all going soft;

What could possibly go right wrong?

Was going to suggest this having just walked past one nearby. Funny enough outside a house with a very nice Basis turntable visible through the window.

This is the obvious choice :smiley: Sold long ago.

Probably the best one I’ve seen. But, I’m still not keen.

This thread has me looking at used Boxters.

Ed - you’re my hero for finally coming up with the right answer. I was beginning to think this place had completely lost it, given the motley selection of poncy crap that has largely been suggested so far.

I mean - a DIESEL convertible? Really? FFS…
