Seems that RB have less tyre options after buggering one set up.
Expect Verstappen to have a good start on softs but possibly get overtaken with pit stops.
Still think Hamilton is favourite for it.

I wonder if Perez could experience catastrophic brake failure while flat out into the first corner?

Whoever wins today will truly deserve it. Both have driven astonishingly well this year, a clear class apart from the rest of the field.
Sit down, buckle up for the ride and enjoy.

Can Verstappen get away with one stop? If Hamilton can stay within a pit stop of Verstappen before Max pits, he should be able to build a lead by the time he pits. Great final qualifying by Verstappen but I think the flat spotting of the medium tires forcing him to take the softs to start may be the difference between winning and losing. Whatever happens, I hope that it’s a fantastic, clean race.

I want Hammy to win, he may get the undercut, either way I hope its clean.

I don’t particularly like either of them but Lewis is the better driver and much safer on track.

I may be being slightly unfair to Max as it’s his dad I really dislike but the apple didn’t fall far.

Best place to overtake MV…while he’s in the pits.

Wow, no action from the stewards.
As Christian would say ‘Just let them race’ :grinning:

Max is finished. He is on the faster tyre, and can’t keep up.
If Hamilton doesn’t make a mistake, it is all over.

Think the stewards were correct.

Two of the three ex f1 drivers, don’t think so.

Except their justification was that Lewis give the advantage back. When you are along side at the point of the incident, that doesn’t equate to a 1.5 second advantage.

he didn’t give back the advantage, he should’ve let Max catch him up but he only slowed slightly.

He could’ve given the place back, stuck with Max and then built a big margin when Max pits very soon.

Given the difference in current pace who knows whether Hamilton would have passed Max even if he gave the place back?
Looks like the soft tyres are not the optimum

Perez will now hold things up , let’s see how Max reacts when he catches up, red mist time?

On Sky? What did they say?
