@loo are you coming, or anyone else not intent on death by meat?

Just wondering how much bird food to pack…

@Wayward best start faffing tomorrow for all that to be cooked on time.

Talking of faff, what time you planning on getting to lopwell on Friday for pizza night?

He’s got a minion helping him this year.

I’ll be doing the chicken

I have booked the day off and was hoping to grab a lift off Pete or Jim to break up the drive. In other words no idea

Sadly not, can’t get the time off. Thanks for the thought though :+1:

I assume most of the heavy cooking will happen in the evening. Do we want something like burgers for Saturday lunch?

Or a light salad?

With quinoa and a lemon and garlic dressing

It’s tradition

What’s happened in the past is that the heavy drinking on Friday night has meant no-one’s up very early on Saturday morning. And breakfast, being large, takes a while to cook. So it becomes brunch, after which people subsist until dinner time by grazing on whatever’s on the table (there’s never really been a shortage of stuff). The keen cooks also appear from time to time with bits of pizza, stuff off the barbecue etc.

Don’t, for the the love of christ, allow Adam near the breakfast prep.

He’s from the “use every single pot, pan and bowl in the joint” school of cookery.
