I didn’t think @HughJanus was bringing any records so you’re going to need to source alternative fuel for a 72 hour inferno. A couple of Tull LPs and the Yes back catalog could have been sufficient material to worry the Met Office about localised heat storms once fully ignited.

Meh!
…it is a sad day for fun when common sense enters the fray.
Having a nice lie in?
Kevin should be delivering the said DVDs to me tomorrow.
2x pairs of Snell K’s
I could take them back to Worcester if it helps at all.
Only a week - getting a bit exited now…

I hope weather improves, dont fancy a soaking wet M5 trip
Looks to be dry on Friday, cloudy Saturday and possible light showers Sunday.
Thanks for all the wishes guys,
the op went well. Spinal anaesthetic so conscious throughout. Got bored with the MOR tunes through the headphones so took them off after the sawing drillng and bashing and listened to the team at work.
Sorry Patch, the bits wouldn’t even have been a JRT’s mouthful.
Fingers crossed.
Still preferable to bagpipe music.
Or flutes
Indeed.
(Shudder)
I can’t listen to bagpipes without general anesthesia. A spinal block would be insufficient to block out the trauma unless it was applied above the neck to deaden the ears.
This is also the bestest way to listen to Tull.
Guess you should be thankful both Terry and I will not be at Lopwell then -
Sadly, I cannot go either. I still have the anesthetic to hand in case of spontaneous Tull breakouts.
