Ah yes, more FAO @TheMooN
You.
I’d love a 55 in me bedroom…think of all the 4k porn… we only have space for a 32 hung from the ceiling…
That’s a lot of money for a 55. Twice what you’d pay for the current LG/Philips/Sony’s and I’m sure most of them have HDR, maybe not all varieties like the panny?
You get an extra years warranty via richer sounds too I think
(I’d also have to say the ambilight on my Philips is brill, worth a look)
Thanks for your considerations fellas
@Kevin the audio componant of that TV attracted me as I won’t be adding any audio peripherals and hadn’t planned on a sound bar
@pbg The ambilight function on your TV does sound intriguing
You and me both brother.
I know I banged on about lack of apps but I have signed up for Sky TV now the Digger has no involvement in the company so will get all the apps through that.
Due to yet another price reduction I have just pulled the trigger on one of these
If you’ve got services sorted by other means, it won’t disappoint.
I did the same earlier this year (for the same reason) it’s so much better than VM.
Sky sports is currently offering the Golf channel for £10, I’ve just signed up to watch the masters and will cancel right after as it’s a rolling one month contract.
Get some help to unpack and set it up. They’re huge and unwieldy and you don’t want to drop it
Nice tv though, enjoy
The TV Stand thing I bought arrives 2 days after the TV is delivered and a day before the Sky TV man comes. I might have to wait until he is there and ask him to help!
That means I have to stare at the TV box for 4 days
Not sure how that will work
The box is massive…
I don’t think my car is big enough to get it to the tip…
The bottom of the box ‘unclips’ and you lift the bulk of it up and off, but then you need to get the wrapping off the tv and get it out of the polystyrene. Our tv was about an inch and a half thick at the bottom and a third up, but the top two thirds of the tv was just screen, about 5mm thick. And it is smooooth, so you’re trying to handle a heavy, big, unbalanced, slippery, expensive, fragile thing. In our case 3 ft up onto a wall bracket
You have a box room!
My wife can’t comprehend ‘bin it’ as a concept…
I don’t have a box room at the new place but I have 3 sheds, the box will probably live in one of those.
New strapline incoming.
If I knock one down will I have shed a shed?
Obvs
Bet she is nowhere near as bad as the Domestic Antipodean for hoarding…(says the bloke with all the records).
