LG. Make the screens for Panasonic

It’s a few percent better in peak brightness, image processing and dark scene work. Like anything else in the industry, incremental gains cost. The 2000 Series is the best performing set on the market; it falls to the individual to determine the worth of it.

The screen is one component. The processing electronics driving them matter.

And in this case, the screen is materially modified from how it is supplied from LG Display to allow it to be driven harder.
