A good day for bad news?

The release of parts of the Henriques report, condemning the Met’s investigations of VIP child abuse http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-37912886, today, when the press is swamped with the US election, was criticised on the radio this morning by people who felt the Met was trying to ‘bury bad news’.

Have you seen anything else which looks like bad news being buried ? I guess the Toblerone catastrophe is an obvious one. I’ll throw this in too http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-37908735 (talk about not being able to organise a piss-up in a brewery  …).

Yep I noticed they timed the benefit cap to take effect while the eyes of the press were focused towards The US of A.
