As much as it has been great watching some big name Tory scum losing their seats Galloway losing has been the highlight. Really don’t like him.

Glad Jess Philips won. She seems nice.

Jonny Mercer loses his seat to Labour.
While he’s done plenty for veterans I’m not sure how much he’s done for my constituency. But then the Labour Mp he replaced done fuck all either apart from drawing a nice wage.
And so the cycle continues.

Douglas Ross gone.

Can we also spare a thought for Alec Salmond? His bold new voice for independence in Scotland gained 11,784 votes.

Lucy Frazer, culture secretary, kicked out here by the Lib Dems. Been blue here since we moved here in 2005. The signs were there with all the Lib Dem placards outside folk’s houses, where normally it’s all Tory.

The boys secondary school hosted an event where all the local candidates did a speech to the kids. Frazer said she could identify with those struggling financially because her mum was a teacher and she was a barrister… Good riddance.

He gone.

Didn’t even turn up to the count, making him less magnanimous than Truss.

Great stuff, went to bed about 4:15 with the BBC desperate to have the Tories on 154 somehow.

The candidate who paid a deposit to hold an L up behind Rishi Sunak through his speech must be thinking that’s money well spent.

Dammit the Tory hat stand here managed to cling onto Wyre Forest albeit with a much reduced majority of 821 over Lab.
