Yeh, the layout only appears once every 100 years, so you gotta pile everything on while the going’s good

Not sure if other programs offer this… Before starting a layout plan, Anyrail allows you to select the manufacturer and their specific type / range of track, in my case Peco 00 Streamline, (the bendy stuff). When you’ve finalised your design, it creates a parts list of all the components required so you can easily order it all.

Cool. SCARM does the first bit, but not the second. I will definitely take a look

A very impressive small layout.The weathering is very impressive and the painted scenery of lochs and mountains is superb.
