Activity tracker watches

Never heard of them, do they sync with Apple Health? As that’s what my scales, blood pressure thingy and breathing app talk with.

Battery life seems great, it is probably why I haven’t got rid of the Garmin yet tbh.

Yes

Nice, seems insanely cheap for what it offers

Chinese spying device

If it’s just fitness tracking you want, a fitness band should be adequate. I have a Xiaomi Mi band, they have battery life about 10 days, do fitness, sleep, heart and O2 plus notifications.

But Chinese spies as above :eyes:

Ordered the Amazfit Bip 6 after watching reviews, all the features that the Apple Watch has above it are apps and things I will never use.

Turned up today. Very impressed for the money better interface than Garmin and nothing missing that I used to use when I had an Apple Watch.
Will see how it gets on with the sleep tracking and fitness stuff over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the recommendation @thebiglebowski

Well…. I have in the last few months gone completely off smart watches and have been wearing my Sinn every day.

I havent missed it at all, except I want to know my HRV, resting heart rate and heart rate during running. Mostly because it’s a good health indicator and I have got back in to running following my knee rehab. But I don’t want a watch with a screen or any sort of notifications.

So have gone and ordered the new Fitbit Air, especially as it works with Apple health and will soon be able to write and read. Will update when it arrives in a week or so. But seems slim and compact and online reviews seem good enough for what I want. Plus no subscription required unlike whoop et al.

I’m using a ‘only worn once’ Garmin Forerunner 35, it was ridiculously cheap off Vinted (£23) works with my iphone and does all the things i want.

I do like the notifications - and the fact that I can have different ones on my watch to my phone. It’s a useful filter, and makes things quieter.

But in your case, is it worth looking at the rings? If all you want is the activity side, they might be more unobtrusive than a “blank” bracelet? Obviously the preference is a very personal thing.

I did consider them but the batteries are rubbish and the results aren’t very accurate.

I like it, super slim and unobtrusive on the wrist. The app comes with an ‘AI assistant’ free for the first 3 months. It seemed good, but in reality it’s stupid. So won’t be bothering with it in future.

Battery life after a day seems to suggest I will get 8-9 days out of it in between charges. The app is fine and gives me the info I want, without too much info or faff.

I’ve only just seen your post.

I like the idea of this because the whole two watch thing is dumb.

Thank you.

No worries, I have seen people integrate them in to a watch strap so it sits inside the wrist on the strap of the watch. This was for the whoop though. I’m sure someone will bring that out pretty soon for the Air

Edit: seems lots of people at making these atm. Will order one and see how it goes.
