She’s heading down to England for a few weeks and does a number of sailings from various locations - the one I’d love to do is the Thames one it would be an awesome way to see London.
Worth checking their website as some of the sailings in England look ace.
A mate kept his boat at Gosport but wintered it at Eel Pie Island (Of Rock and Roll and @chelseadave fame) We motored down the Thames to Erith before we could put up the mast and it was a great trip. It was amazing how different all the London landmarks looked from the river, and in some cases were designed to be approached from the river.

It’s such an amazing way to travel through a landscape you think your familiar with it’s gives you such a different perspective.
There was a time when I (and about 400 other drones in double-cuffed blue shirts) did this quite regularly because they were haemorrhaging people and HR didn’t know what else to do (err, maybe don’t treat us like dogshit?)
It’s a really nice trip up to the Thames flood barrier etc. and back.
Once did a trip on one of the Police Launches from Westminster Pier to Greenwich in the early 2000’s. That was memorable as it certainly motored along once we passed Tower Bridge.
The London and Thames Estuary ones run from 24th Sep to 12th Oct this year.
I am trying to remember the year, Would have been around 82/83 and the camera would have been a basic Yashica rangefinder, so not sure about the quality of the pics, but the skyline would have looked a bit different!
When we first moved to London we lived pretty much where that was taken from, because we were used to being smack bang in the middle in Edinburgh and walking to work was the norm.

Anne lived in The Tower Hotel midweek for just about two years when she was working in Canary Wharf. Had some great trips down to see her.
