Hmm. Didn’t notice that purple hue in LR, will have to wiggle with a slider there

In fact it looks quite different on screen than it did in LR. Will have to fiddle a bit mroe here. Bugger

Impressed by the images at Nicks so I tried some 40 x 60.

V.nice. What have you printed on ?

Cheers Aluminum prints - I was going to go for canvas -So I created all the files with the correct format and aspect ratio etc before realising that with canvas the image gets folded around the edges. Which I hadn’t accounted for.

A lot of online places give you the option to allow for the wrap around by printing a solid colour so you don’t lose any of the original image.

Snap from my first roll of film (basic Kodak 200) with the Olympus 35 SP.

The average metering bleached the sky a bit although it was a pretty grey day

I took this rather dull scene to see how the camera coped with lower light on its full auto setting - I think I probably should have spot metered on the worktop

This was the last shot on the reel and I tried as hard as I could to push for a grainy/ moody exposure

So the new (to me) late 60s/ early 70s rangefinder works fine, its just me who has to improve my technique.

When were you there - the weather I was out in on Saturday certainly wasn’t conducive to photos like that!

Not “actual photography” just a quick snap from the car while waiting at the lights that came out nicely.

Took a wrong turn and came across this view point. Group of Brit birders on a guided tour, getting excited about the swifts a few feet above had hight.
