Last gasp of Canada’s “Wild West” era, the new railway was bringing farmers and the last native holdouts were being starved into submission

Bloody hell that’s involved & I need to look into what had gone on in the previous 100-150 years to understand how they’d got to that position.

I was shocked that enough of the Northern Irish attitude has rubbed off on me that my first thought was “yes but where in County Down?”
