All the Football (Part 2)

Yes,don’t want to say how much I put on.But it’s the best part of a co op meal deal if they win

Best lay off in that case (13/2 now) - don’t want you going bankrupt.

There’s still bargains to be had in B&M on crackers, balloons & party poppers if Arsenal want to have their ‘end of season’ shindig this week :tada: :balloon: :tada:

This commentary box must be a right fucking mess. Every time Rice touches the ball they’re wanking themselves dry.

Thank goodness Ten Hag went because Diallo would probably have left in this window otherwise.

Darn, I was enjoying the seeming inevitability of their defeat.

Those same commentators only pointed out his faults before he played for a proper club.

An interesting set of midweek games.

Man City’s fragility returned though Brentford are great at home, as Liverpool will find out on Saturday. Likewise Chelsea dropped another two points.
Talking of Liverpool the ‘Slot Slump’ continued with a draw at Forest. Huffed and puffed but poor finishing and some great last ditch blocks and saves meant we dropped another two points.
Salah and Diaz haven’t been great since the turn of the year and we’ll just have to hope Jota can remain injury free.

Arsenal closed the gap with a win in the North London derby. Spurs were pretty awful again and surely Ange is one bad result away from the sack.
They have Everton away on Sunday which could be that very match. David Moyes return started with a defeat to Villa and hopefully his return goes as well as Howard Kendall’s.:smiling_imp:

Was good to see West Ham get a first win for Graham Potter. Comes across as a nice guy - sort of like Gareth Southgate but with some actual coaching ability and tactical nous.

At the bottom the three promoted clubs are looking likely to go straight back down.
Southampton are doomed, despite giving Man Utd a fright, and Ipswich and Leicester would both have banked on getting something from home games against Brighton and Leicester respectively.

9.5 year contract :scream:

Be surprised if he is still there in two years.
Be good if he stays in the prem though

Puncles mid week breakdown has a nice ring about it.
Surely sky beckons

Here was me thinking the PL had stamped down on these very long contracts

So does this mean that Man City are confident of beating the 115 charges or is this them planning for constraints? They’ve certainly started recruiting players with relatively low wages to established stars on mega money which was their MO.

The punters might not always get what they want.

It seems like it. They’ve just agreed £90m transfer fees for two new players as well as this contract.

Money really does corrupt sport and any sense of competitiveness doesn’t it? So long as the ‘governing’ bodies get rich they don’t seem to give a fuck.

Presume you saw the recent news that WADA have kicked the US off their board, after the US withheld funding cos WADA didn’t do anything about doped Chinese swimmers.

Or possibly they think they are getting a transfer ban/sanctions so getting them all in early’?
