Sweden are no pushovers
Think Sweden will probably win,but it looks an easier route
Hardly
1-0 at Anfield, 1-1 on aggregate, 4-1 penalties, in my book put to bed.
It’s going to be great playing Chelsea in the Premier League & Cups next season. Anyone beating them can rightly claim to be ‘World Champions’ ![]()
(and they’ll be knackered)
Don’t understand why Chelsea were in it.
Guess the American owner helped
No one understands FIFA.
The explanation is always money.
They make the rules up to assist in: money. Inter Miami? How did they qualify??? Oh yes, some shield they won. Nothing to do with Messi.
They even tried to get Ronaldo in.

I think you disproved your first point quite efficiently there!
Trying to decide whether Trump taking part in Chelsea’s victory celebration is worse than John Terry’s ‘Full Kit W****r’ appearance (also having not played) a few years ago.
Trump and Coldplay ffs
2026 World Cup is going to be awful.
Football is pretty much dead as a competitive sport, it increasingly reminds me of a quote from Douglas Copelands ‘Gen X’ - ‘dead at 30, buried at 70’.
The damage has already been done, the filthy corrupting influence of £bns upon £bns started at the formation of the PL, and season after season it just seeps further into the DNA. Governing bodies encourage this for obvious self interest, with no regard for the sporting element.
First the cheating on the pitch that was once despised, is then normalised and encouraged; now we have cheating off the pitch, almost anything is allowed as long as those making money keep getting their share of the take. Man City will never face anything meaningful in terms of those charges because the people who originally condoned it now have nothing to gain by punishing it.
Plenty more £bn spectacles like we saw yesterday before the final nails go in the coffin, until then I can’t see any change to the growth in embedded financial inequality that drives the lack of genuine fair play and competition. But hey, as long those pocketing big money continue to do so who cares eh?
Amen to that.
I’ve renewed again this season despite being pretty much out of love with it. Season ticket has been ready to collect since the middle of June and I haven’t been arsed to go and get it.
This could get fun.
NUFC want Ekitike. If LFC can’t get Issac they may poach Ekitike - so there is a potential here to say give us one to stop us taking the other.
If NUFC buy another striker at the prices quoted they will have to make sales to comply with FFP.
It’s a game of multiple dimensions. What both sides want is not the only aspect to this.
Exciting times. I don’t believe we’ll be selling Isak to be honest. I think we start the season with both
.
i doubt it
The best thing that could happen to football is that a club like Shef Wed go to the wall , and that may actually force the authorities into actually taking some action.
