All the Football (Part 2)

Lots of Wolves pressure second half but Roefs only had to make one really meaningful save. A very hard fought but precious three points.

Favourite to take over at forest

Lovely goal for Villa to win at Spuds today, a great pass, touch and finish from 3 players.

Still to discover see what anyone at Utd has seen in Dorgu. New keeper looks like an upgrade though.

Phew, nervous stuff! Lammens and Cuhna was great!

Yes, they deserved that.

Not sure what’s up with Liverpool at the moment. Some good individuals including the newcomers but not really playing as a team.

Still, this fella’s free, for now

One of my brothers is shouting louder than ever that slot is a fraud, TBF to him , he said it from day one.

I’m sitting on the fence, his argument about balance is compelling

He kept it going last season. He’s obviously fairly capable but getting this number of newcomers to fit together was always going to be difficult.

Kept it going, is the key. Working it out now he has his Christmas list is where the sword drops.

For me he didn’t start with all of his in form players

The politicians & other wankers who’ve been moaning at Aston Villa & West Midlands Police for choosing to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a Europa Cup match at Villa Park are looking a bit silly tonight. Presumably the Tel Aviv police are a bit anti-semitic aswell?

Some absolutely mental things at the game today:

  1. Konate, under no challenge or pressure at all, repeatedly heading the ball like a pub footballer to their midfield. United, having Mount up front, cleverly decided just not to contest the long clearances from their goalie and go for second balls. Konate just didn’t seem to understand this. Which was compounded by…
  2. Mac Allister playing as centre forward with his back to De Ligt for absolutely no reason, leaving us with two midfielders. He’s another one for whom the start of the season has been a living nightmare - his drop off has been massive.
  3. Kerkez is a young lad and his head is on the moon. He needs some time on the training ground, when it feels like the manager is trying to play all the players out of form, into form. It’s not working.
  4. Just about everything else.

Oh, one final thing from me, Michael Oliver you total fucking cunt. Imagine not stopping the game for a head injury that lays a player out for 3-4 minutes. Fucking sound, mate.

He’s got previous with us

It appeared from the replay viewed from the Kop that McAllister was looking around. He wasn’t unconscious or spurting blood. Not sure the game could’ve or should’ve been stopped that quickly. The ball was in the net 9 seconds later. A similar thing happened to Maguire later, in the move that led to the corner & the second Utd goal. Oliver let the advantage be played in that instance aswell.

A lot of it. Apparently MO has reffed LFC v MUFC and LFC are yet to win one

LOL West Ham in for Zirkzee @Wayward. Are they going for the slowest 11 of all time?

I first heard this rumour weeks ago, and dismissed it, but it won’t go away. I think we are doomed tbh. It doesn’t matter who is the manager, that squad is shit. No leaders. Not sure I can watch the game v Leeds on Friday…

One look at the team sheet…
