@murrayjohnson bit of a PR disaster for Argyle of their own making.
Itâs very tough at that level, on the cusp of being a paid professional or not. Do they get a job & stay as an amateur? Sophie knows many whoâve fallen out of it.
Lots of rumours flying around that the funding for the womenâs team is going to be pretty much cut to nothing. I can see this being for lots of teams though as the new financial rules come into play and clubs have to get their house in order.
Pretty poor the way Argyle have gone about it.
I will say though that I bet 90% of the people slating Argyle on the Argyle forum havenât attended a single match.

Are you pleased about Iraola? I think heâs a really good choice. Wouldâve been quite happy for Utd to have hired him. Surprised City went for Maresca & not him too.

Yes, probably the best realistic target for us and looks like he plays a very energetic style!
Appears to be very low maintenance managerially so Hughes/Edwards will love that.
