Make sure you have a backup, especially when using SSDs. When these fail, its very sudden and completely unrecoverable. Mechanical HDDs usually start acting up before they fail, so you get some warning. Not so with SSD.

That’s a very valid point.
There’s really very little need to have a SSD for music storage. You can make 2.5" discs very quiet and they’re high capacity and quite a bit cheaper.
