Romano beans simmered all afternoon with garlic, onion, carrot, celery, red bell pepper, a tin of diced tomatoes, chili powder, paprika, cumin, dried chillies, dried oregano, a few glugs of Lea & Perrins, and a small bit of diced salt-pork for umami. Creamy coleslaw.
The apartment smelled wonderful today . . . probably not so much tomorrow . . . beans and cabbage :mask:
