Six oz gourmet chilli
cheeseburger.
Billed as Aldi’s ultimate burger, made with brisket, chuck
steak, dry aged beef added bone marrow & short rib. Done on me Le Crueset cast iron griddle.
Two rashers of thick cut back
bacon, toasted brioche bun. (first time I’ve ever used brioche fer burgers believe it or not) Bed of chilli ketchup, raw finely sliced red onion, rocket. Grilled Roquefort & Dijon mustard.

Whoops bargain gammon joint fresh outta t’ oven.
Mainly fer butties for next coupla days. Will shortly indulge in a hot gammon sammidge after resting fer awhile with lid on roasting tin.
Here’s the sucker. On rather nice stone baked three cheese
bloomer heavily buttered & slathered wiv Dijon mustard.
Just a quick snack prior to a repeat of last nights chilli cheese

‘Pretend meat’ saturated in pepper to try to hide the fact it doesn’t hav that much flavour! Don’t normally eat these but needed something quick to tide me over till later.
Goats cheese & caramelised onion chutney tart in a flakey pastry, with minted baby potatoes & caramelised tendersweet carrots sautéed in butter with Rosemary sea salt ‘n cracked black pepper, finished wiv a balsamic glaze.
These tendersweet carrots are a real treat cooked this way & it’s soo quick & easy.
Toad in the hole Bolognese

Another balti, with plenty of fresh chilli added to try to clear Hel’s cold and runny nose - kill or cure.
Avec frites blonde
No more than 4 non blondes
