I use a straw

A lot of the wine “experts” including my sister and my good friend Anna go on about them a lot. I think the combination of size and fluting make them useful across a range of wines. They also feel quite refined and delicate in spite of being quite strong.

I bought them more out of curiosity than anything else. The intention is not to use them every day!

We have a selection of Dartington lead crystal glasses bought from the factory shop during our (once upon a time) frequent visits to Devon.
Large bowls for red, smaller for white, highball, and tumbler.

Suspect they are very nice, but crystal glasses always makes me think of parents and grandparents display cabinets. Got cleaned a couple of times a year but never ever used even at Christmas.

We use them daily. NEVER use anything else.
