Really love crispy skinned mackerel with horseradish and beetroot.
Horseradish is an essential in SMP for me. Mustard, not convinced at all by that notion.
Seems to me that hot mustard, horseradish and wasabi all fulfill similar criteria… which is to burn your nostril hairs

Prep done for chicken Arrabbiata.
Three substantial chicken breast fillets flash charred on me Le Crueset cast iron griddle.
On a bed of course sliced Echallion shallots sautéed in butter ‘n extra virgin olive oil. Arrabbiata sauce enriched with plenty of diced Mozzarella & fair bit of added Anchoa & Chipotle chilli flakes. Sliced green peppers ‘n a nice breadcrumbs & Parmesan Regganio crust. Should be nicely done open topped in t’ oven at gas mark 6 fer approx 50mins.
Had a feeling it was French, very similar look to the Opinel folding blade knives I’m familiar with

This is the fcking danger of this forum. I thought I had nice steak knives. I’ve just bough a new house and supposed to be reining it in… Then I see these things and I spend £100 on six knives I don’t need. Claire is a veggie ffs, I only need one!
Aforementioned chicken Arrabbiata.
Served up with skin on herby baby roast potatoes with chives, dill tops, oregano, Rosemary ‘n cracked black pepper. Finished by fork crushing & dosing each spud with heavy on ‘t garlic herby butter with freshly shaved Parmesan Regganio for a final flash in the oven.
With a side salad mit balsamic, lemon, coarse grain mustard & honey dressing.
I’ve learned that this is the danger in liking nice things and then being exposed to other people that also like nice things
