One of my current favourite comfort foods is budae-jjigae (Army Base Stew), a combination of spicy Korean broth, Kimchi, noodles, pork belly or meatballs along with western convenience foods (Spam, hotdogs, smoked sausage, ham, baked beans, American cheese, etc)

“Smashed browns” at a new local cafe/bistro - hash browns topped with sautéed sausage, onion, and peppers, crowned with a fried egg. Was very tasty!
