My wife discussed purchasing new plates last night to improve the pictures.

We do in fact have new plates, but you can’t put them in the dishwasher so they are never used.

I suppose lockdown has affected everyone in subtle, but insidious ways.

Plate/ food social media nervosa syndrome - that’s a thing now.

I’ve noticed an alarming trend of better plates on here.

I would eat and enjoy it but it does remind me the salad my gran used to make on a Sunday afternoon when we went round. You just need to invest in a proper egg slicer to get the full effect.

made an impromptu chilli from a defrosted ragu

not as good as a long slow one with all the chillis but certainly passable

Bbq chicken, cowboy pickles, hush puppies and bbq beans.

(yawn) Late night cooking here . . .

Egg roll filling for use tomorrow. Minced pork, garlic, spring onion, shitake mushrooms, carrot, Napa cabbage, hoisin sauce, Sriracha, Worcestershire, sesame oil, and black pepper.
