I went down the DeAgostini route too. Concur. Another nonstreaming but cheap way to expand is via cd collections of several albums for about a tenner. I split them into individual albums for attention span reasons and put them on a hard drive hung off the back of my trusty Squeezebox Touch.

I seem to recall a (no-doubt apocryphal) tale of him battering/scaring the shit out of Jimmy Savile in the ring - Savile, as with so much, being a bully of limited talent up against the genuine article. According to ‘Exotic’, he always knew Savile was a wrong 'un, so relished the opportunity. RIP AS.

I seem to recall AS didn’t know the full extent of Savile’s wrong doing but said if he did he’d have properly laid into him. As it was I think he immediately took a dislike to the paedo DJ and the way he talked about and flaunted young girls, and this was why he went into the ring and gave him a proper kicking.

Not listened to this set of variations and alternate recordings before. Someone in the group is clearly a big fan of Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac stuff though.
