That’s too large a soldering iron. And she’s soldering on the wrong side of the pcb. Still, not bad for someone who’s self-taught. Here he is painting himself not painting himself

Not a really big issue with valves, TBH.
My first thought was that there was something wrong with the valve in the foreground - it looked too big, or the perspective was wrong, and the vacuum seal pip is too large. It could be a Russian version of the PL509 though, in which case she’s working on a telly line output board (but where’s the LOPT ?) or an OTL amp.
Artistic licence I guess.
