Any old Pics - replicating google images, one post at a time (Part 2)

The 1866 pic even makes it look like the road layout was changed as Trenchard looks to divert to the left in the old pic.

I wonder if the B&W was taken as a record of the old buildings before they were all razed to the ground, 'cos if you look at this side-by-side map from ~1873 - 1888, the old layout and names are already gone.

Much better then, as most things.

I’ve been to Rye many times but never seen that place. Is it down near the station?

Just round the back apparently

Nup. Not heard of them.

Should have recognised Trevor Burton though :pensive:

Koobas were excellent. They straddled freakbeat to psych 1966. (Think Mods on speed avac acid)

Had to reverse image search it, as more unknowns than known to me -

“1968 - Zürich, Switzerland. From left: Eric Burdon, Stu Leathwood, Keith Ellis, Roy Wood, Jimi Hendrix, Noel Redding, Carl Wayne, John Mayall, Steve Winwood, Trevor Burton and Roy Morris”
