Looks like a tarby or brucie house in Wentworth

Regular wander back from KettleJnr2’s nursery takes me past these.

Presumably these are on @Spenagio’s radar?

Not seen those, look like museum pieces :+1:

@Spenagio Hoping you could shed some light on this. I’m doing a bungalow renovation. I have planning permission but I want to amend the design a bit before going back to Planning but I do not want to use the original architect. Are there any copyright issues with an architect updating another architects work?

Hi @Myrman, there should not be an issue. If you have paid the original architects fees then the plans become your intellectual property. This may even be in your contract.
This is quite common. If you have parted amicably it would ideal to get the DWG CAD files from your previous architect to allow the new architect to use, not having to start from scratch will reduce his fee.

PM me if needed happy to help where I can

Good to know thanks :+1:

I got the autocad files from our architects. Turns out you can import them into Visio which was handy

These little homes are very clever, but the issue of lack of space, inside and out, has been getting worse since the 80s. The ridiculous premium on land , especially in the south east, means most will never be able to afford a 3 bed semi with garden, let alone one where the house and garden are of a decent size. Clever little homes aren’t the answer - toddlers can’t run around ‘cleverly’. Hopefully the changes to WFH due to Covid will cause many more companies to abandon city centre offices and the associated need to live somewhere near, and we can spread out a bit. Greedy house builders need reining in too (no I’m not optimistic here)

We (most on this forum I guess) are very fortunate to have jumped on the housing ladder before it lifted out of reach. I really pity the new starters who don’t have rich parents to get them going
