Armchair politics

Added context: The car is full of economic Semtex, liquid fascism, greed, hate and stupidity. The motor bike is the funeral of truth, hope and the environment.

This is making me laugh a lot more than it should.

Krankie in no filter mode.

Esther Mcvey has a couple of positive points - she’s not bad looking, and she’s scouse

Hold on…isn’t scouse Tory an oxymoron?

“Already the hypocrites are lining up to say she was a terrific woman and did her best for the country. This vile PM, as she came to the end of a speech that was probably written long ago, let her voice break. She was crying for herself not the country. Her ambition was personal not for the improvement of the citizens lives. Now she’ll be replaced by another vile PM”

This.

“Don’t let her failure to deliver Brexit overshadow her many other failures”

Also this.

One of the weirdest things (and they are innumerable) about having BJ as PM is he could literally wake up one morning and decide to keep us in, if he thought it would win him votes.

While he did well in Europe, I doubt the Tories would pick a left winger.

Whoever takes over will not have a majority and be reliant on the DUP which is not a good place to be.

The only way any PM can work is with a clear majority or a properly negotiated coalition.

Will they try and muddle through like May with a disunited party or try for a working majority by way of a GE and get canned at the ballot box?
May lost that gamble but least she formed a Government

Yes, she may have exacerbated the situation through her ineptness but as you point out a change of leader changes nothing in respect of the omni-shambles we are in.

This is what should have happened in the first place, if May hadn’t been so pig-headed. She’s now made the whole affair so toxic that it’s unlikely to be salvageable.
Apologies for stating the obvious (to 48% of the country, at any rate).
Hoping for Ref2 but not holding breath.

Reckon either fat Sam or warnock will get it

Should be an interesting summer of watching the tories tear themselves apart

Unless they just buckle and give it to Johnson

The Purple influx brigade will vote for Florence given any chance. What has the country come to when we need Gove to step up and knife him in the back again?
