looking at the number of very senior civil servant’s who have fallen on their swords recently, I think the height attained by Johnsons ‘‘fringe’’ is the indicator for his buck stops o’metre. The higher it gets, the greater the distance from him and his cabinet they are pushing it. We currently appear to be heading for a rather unique authority without responsibility regime.

And they act like a dick…Call them Homo Erectus

Devastated to learn that Chris Grayling has flounced out of the Intelligence and Security Committee. Obviously just serving as a regular member rather than as Boris Johnson’s appointed Chairman was beneath him. A tragedy though. His wisdom and experience would have been invaluable. Where next for this brightest of stars?

Cummings characterised as Jafar in a gilet, and Theresa May reimagined as Mrs Mangle, just two treats from a bang on form Marina.

I don’t understand the blanket return to office drive? Particularly when it’s at odds with the approach that many companies seem to be taking. We are working absolutely fine remotely, even with various people juggling childcare etc… I can’t think of a single issue we’ve dealt with since March that has been attributable to everyone working remotely, or an issue that has been resolved any slower because of it. That’s in a relatively small team with essentially no slack/redundancy in the system. I don’t imagine we’re alone in this.

Tory donors / mates / MPs all big investors in commercial property.

It’s as simple as that.

Probably not the main reasons but a few lesser motivators.

Want people buying coffee and lunch in towns
Want people back in city centers shopping
Don’t want offices to close (Loss of business rates) due to the revelation they don’t actually make work happen any better than at home for many.
Want parking, toll, transport, congestion money
Really want to please big landlords / insurers
Don’t want to subsidise
Do want tax revenue from (Cleaning services + A shit ton on ancillary businesses)

  • thousands more irritatingly silly reasons Vs Health.

What was it - ‘go to work, fuck the nhs, save Pret’ ? Sums it up

I thought there were suggestions that Mr Grayling is in big trouble for certain indiscretions he has not been named for yet. Perhaps this was just a nasty rumour.

It actually melts my brain that they are still on at least 40%.

And it takes a drop in the polls to get Tory MPs angry. Not the deaths of 60,000 people and stunning incompetence in so many areas.

Another 4 years (probably)

Until a No Deal Brexshit is delivered. The Gammon need continuity.

I don’t see him lasting. New leader once the Brexshit hits the fan.
