The Type E’s were of the High Efficiency Type (HE), Standard Crossovers and Lexus internal wire. So I think that makes them AN Type E HE Lexus.
For such a large room I thought the sound was pretty good. At the end of the day the acoustic band on stage asked us to turn it down (playing Noisia) which was a nice twist on last year when the rooms were asking the bands to turn it down.

The HE version has the larger magnets, hemp drivers and silver voice coils.
Not sure this system will be out again. The TT3 Ref is mine and I am pretty sure it is the only one in the UK at the moment. I know AN do not currently have one. Also the planets managed to align such that we could get our hands on an Ongaku, this may not happen again. So it was pretty much a one off special I’m afraid.
