Would this be overkill with my Rega RP6 and Exact cart? Would probably change to a Hana SL cart, but don’t want to be ‘polishing a turd’ as they say…
Just buy a shinier turd.

Before I changed my system around the other week I was running a lowly DJ deck with a £30 Ortofon cartridge through a Trigon advance and it sounded very very good.
You might be pleasantly surprised how good your current set up sounds through a top notch phono stage.

I’ve heard the Vida with a few different carts of various levels, including a Hana SL, at different gatherings, and it’s never sounded less than great. I think it’s one of those rare top quality stages that pull the best out of a cart, rather than exposing it’s shortcomings.
