No lemon to speak of and I also forgot to put some almond extract in it.

I used rice and baking parchment to blind bake and I suspect too much rice, hence the hardness of the base.

Disappointing after all my banging on about it all. :frowning:

Sadly I’ve sat on Bank Quay station, or waited outside for a taxi, more evenings than I care to remember. Sometimes I could hear the sounds from Mr Smith’s even at that distance. I was never tempted to stray though …
