I bought my Dyson v8 in 2018, and about two years ago I fitted a newer high capacity battery. If the filters are kept clean, it sucks so hard I can barely push it along a smooth floor

We’ve had 2 shark battery vacs over the past 6 years. The first one only got replaced as the wife had a meno-moment and washed the filters without taking them out of the fucking thing. The second one has lasted 3 years so far and does sterling service. We also have a corded shark which is better but a total faff after the battery one.
Meile or however it’s spelled do battery vacs now, expensive but probably good. I guess.
