“Tributes have been paid to the pair, with Ms Warrington described as a “lovely” and “warm” lady by a colleague.
Surgeon Charlie Chan worked with her for 13 years at Cheltenham General Hospital, where she was his personal assistant.”
He pops in occasionally to post R2R porn. He did get a hard time on the Wam for being over enthusiastic about Tron gear, to the extent he was accused of shilling. Don’t think he got any of that here though, unless I missed it.
He’s posted on AA occasionally, so thought it worth mentioning. No antipathy toward him on here unlike the Wam, but there were some proper cunts in that place
Bad news I’m afraid. Gary was admitted to hospital 10 days ago. The doctors cannot find out what is wrong but suspect it is the effects of his row across the Atlantic. He’s not allowed visitors.
Thank you very much for thinking of me. It has been a terrible time for everyone in the health community in Cheltenham. Val was my PA for 13 years at Cheltenham General Hospital. After I left in 2013, she went to work in the cardiology department. She was still working as a PA to one of the cardiology consultants on the day she was murdered.
Val became a family friend and I would regularly take her out for lunch to get away from the NHS grind. We would talk about our respective families. She adored her children and grandchildren and sacrificed everything to send her children to private school. She was much like my long departed Mum in many ways.
Clive, her ex-husband, was a builder specialising in restoring old houses. He was really talented. Clive spent 9 months working on our house, restoring old oak casement windows and installing new Farmington Stone.
Sadly they were both killed by one of their sons, Will. I suspect that this tragedy occurred as a result of mental illness, rather than cold blood. All will be revealed in due course, but we all guessed as soon as we became aware of the news.
It has been terrible for their daughter and other sons. The whole hospital has been rocked by this, as have been the paramedics and police, who attended the scene.
So tragic Charlie, thanks so much for letting us know the circumstances. I can’t begin to imagine what led to this, and how you must be feeling at the moment.
