There is a (subtle ?) link from my first post here back to the thread it was separated from. But since this thread’s come back to life, perhaps with people who weren’t following it in 2021, I’ll just remind us all of the villain I had in mind back then
(it’s him on the left). Rickman did a pretty good job given that it was his first film role.

He was superb in everything I ever saw him in - particularly liked his Sherriff of Nottingham in Prince of Thieves
