Were they all very butch in the Lockwood loudspeakers room?

“We manly use Tannoy drive units which is what Lockwood has used since we started building speakers. We have stocks of Golds, Reds and HPD’s. “

What did you think of the audio note room?

Some good sounds and enjoyed it but didn’t blow my socks off, which I felt it should have done for that money.
Can’t understand their current pricing.
You used to be able to get E’s for the price of the J’s and a Signature Oto for the Cobra price.

Sounded a bit boomy in there today

Enjoyed the technics room

Unusual as I think it was the hemp drivers, which are cleaner in the bass.
Unfortunately didn’t hear any vinyl played in the Technics room but, yeah, sounded good.

Maybe the price of 2nd hand aftermarket Mercs has gone up

or servicing costs for thrashed to fuck mercs

Although I wasn’t there for long,it was quite empty which surprised me.Its the time I’ve been on a Saturday for years. Some rooms were busy, but the corridors were pretty empty

Also it used to occupy 7 floors, might be wrong but think it is down to 4

Hope it can continue, but guess it must be harder to get the figures to work

Basement
Ground Floor
Terrace
1st floor (half corridor)
2nd
3rd
4th

I think Naim once used to take a suite on the very top (10th?) floor but that was years ago.

Yes remember naim being up the top

Communal lavs?
