Just read through this thread and saw the posts regarding Peugeot 107 and related.
We have one. TBH, I fucking loath the thing. Yes, it’s very cheap to run and reliable, but I don’t think i have ever driven a more uncomfortable, under powered piece of shit, ever. On my own, on a 10 minute journey i can just about bear it. Beyond that, seriously, just fuck off.
The driver’s seat seems to fold my arse cheeks around my pants in 7 new and interesting ways, each time I drive it. I can never get comfortable. At night in the wet on the country roads around here, visibility is terrible. I struggle to keep the screen from fogging without the blower on max which means I’m always shouting at whoever is in it with me, and because you are snake belly low, you get perma dazzled by cars coming in the opposite direction. On long journeys with other people in it, it is awful. It makes an utter meal out of hills, and I mean even the slightest incline. Forget overtaking anything. You can’t get anything in it and the stereo is unlistenable.
It’s a city car, and for nipping to the shops it’s ok, but for anything else. Away and wank my shite.

I have one because I’m cheap for me it’s fine really is - Bits are cheap
and there are plenty around - It’s significantly quieter than a mk1 ford KA
It is pretty underpowered that’s it main failing - If you are buy cars as likely last owner - Low tax, long MOT and good tyres are key buying points not lack of power I do at least 2 four hour trips each month - no discomfort
To be fair, there are devices that have launched satellites, fought wars and levelled buildings that are also significantly quieter than a Mk1 Ford KA.

Well, I guess we are all different, Andy! I really do detest it. It has just been through it’s MOT and it was cheap. Nothing wrong! This only means we’ll have it longer.
