My 19 year old nephew bought himself a cheapie turntable with speakers from HMV before Christmas and has now got the bug for buying old records. He came to visit yesterday for a listening session and I sent him home with my old Eclipse 508 speakers and amp for his bedroom and a couple of boxes of old records to listen to. My brother has an old turntable he can use whilst he saves up to get a starter Audio Technica turntable.
He needs a little phono preamp and it makes sense to get one with a headphone socket and bluetooth capability if possible so he can play music from his phone. Any recommendations for a cheap unit.
