Some nice bits of info here, on the cheaper end.

Y’see, I’m kinda jealous you can buy women’s watches at 1/10th the price of mens…

Prolly just the angle, but that cyclops tho’…

I have stupid small wrists but feel a small watch just highlights this haha

Fuck it though, I’ll just buy whatever. Who cares what people think?

Nice to see Marathon and Dan Henry get a shout, but MWC really should be in there - their divers are SO much better in the flesh than their crappy site makes them look, genuine Swiss-made watches, and no diver should lack GTLS! Love my Depthmaster to bits - prolly gets more wrist-time than anything else, not least cos it’s basically bomb-proof (ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, 1000M rating &c), and at the time they were <Ā£400! And that’s their most expensive piece!

My Seiko chrono slide rule. Love this watch, it has a great leather strap on it just a shame my eyesight isn’t good enough to be able to use the sliderule for doing any calculations and that my beer addled brain can’t remember the 70 page manual on how to use the bloody thing. Need to get a battery for this as well.

Since when was nine o’clock marked 9.00477796… ? That’s close to (but not exactly) 17.2 seconds after 9.

Sorry it’s taken so long, late lunch break ….

They could have used 5^2-4^2. Or (100)Ė…3.

I’ve had the blue hand version on watch-lists for a while, so having asserted ā€œno-moreā€, I pressed the button on it. Too good a price to ignore…

I do have the 46 SOH but tried on the 42 first. Being 6’2 and 20+ stone I have manly wrists so anything under 40 looks wrong and 44-46 is about right. My smiths Everest is 40 and about the smallest I can get away with purely because I love it. A shame really as there are a ton of bargain vintage things I’d throw money at but being ration era 32-36mm they look like toys on my wrist.

I can’t believe how quickly I’ve fallen for my vintage Tissot Seastar, but the current Khaki NATO strap is not the best, so any recommendations for a decent Khaki Nato strap greatly received.
