Totally jealous!!
I really want the DC56 Si but would settle for the DC36. If the DSub1 came with a Submarine steel bracelet that would be up there as well, though too big for me in truth.
If I drop any serious money on a watch it’s going to be one of these.
I do prefer the plain black and white actually 
but it’s great that they’re willing to do it to your taste!

Yes indeed. There’s some videos online which mention some of the changes they make, parts are made in-house, unremarkable I suppose given they have their own movements now.
I like the mods. For the hard of thinking, how does a central chrono work?

If you place the bezel pip on the hour hand when you start you can also track up to 12 hours and not just the 60 minutes he mentions.

Instead of little dinky sub-dials (that blind cunts like me can’t see without specs), you have a second set of central hands for seconds and minutes. Damasko distinguish them by shape, and in two models, colour. As Pan says, the bezel lets you track hours as well.
Got you, so with the second hand, does that only work if the chrono is engaged or does it switch from time to stopwatch function?
Stopwatch only. Perversely, it’s one of the things I like about the setup - no energy being wasted uselessly driving a second hand around unless it’s needed.

I bought a Yema a while back for similar crankily-Gallic reasons, love what they do and the way they do it, not least cos they’re very inexpensive as well…

I love it, but plenty of other strap options. Unworn one on TZ-UK for £275 on a grey suede NATO (yuk).
